Historic Center:
Situated right in th heart of the city, the historic center is the biggest tourist attraction and spot of sight seeing in Siena. The historic center is an unique specimen of great ancient European architectural plans and patterns. Because of its huge historic value and importance the historic center of Siena has been included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites
Piazza del Campo:
Another major spot of sight seeing in Siena is the Piazza del Campo. It is that venue where the famous palio (historic horse race) is held every year. You may also visit adjacent Palazzo Pubblico, which houses Museo Civico, the main museum of the city and the 334 feet long tower named Torre del mangia.
Terzi:
Located at a very close distance from Piazza del Campo,Terzi is a unique spot in Siena to visit. Terzi is a city that has been sub-divided into three separate districts. Among the three districts, terzo di Citta is the oldest. Walk for a while and you would reach Via di Citta where you would get to see the Duomo (Cathedral), museum of Spedale di Santa maria della Scala and an art gallery named Pinacoteca which houses great collection of Sienese paintings.
